Hero Honda India reported a sharp rise in quarterly net profit of 53% from selling world class bikes.The Net sales rose to Rs.27.89billion from Rs.26.40 billion.
The Managing Director of Hero Honda Pawan Munjal said “We have focused on all-round efficiency improvement … several cost rationalisation initiatives were also taken.” “However, for the industry as a whole, the steadily rising input costs remain a concern. For more than a year, the industry has also been reeling under very high interest costs and lack of consumer finance,” he added.

Hero Honda sold 884,075 bikes and scooters in the March quarter which is a increase of 7% relatively for the previous years.
