Yahoo Inc plans to make its Web site a social hub by hosting applications from other online services,to yield more ad revenues.

“We are going to rewire the entire experience at Yahoo to make it social in every dimension,” Ari Balogh, Yahoo’s chief technology officer, said at a “Web 2.0″ conference.

This technique was adopted from Famous search leader Google which is providing open source applications.This change in tech will allow around 500 million users to customize to their needs over the web.Yahoo will create fancy & flashy desktop gadgets which is also known as widgets will be available soon for the users.

Yahoo now concentrating on more social network , since orkut by google hits more subscribers . The widgets about to be produces by Yahooo will easily fit into any webpage.

This operation will get life within this year end.If Microsoft is taking over Yahoo , then things may change .
