Pizza Retail Chain, Papa John’s to open 100 outlets in India
Papa John,one of the world’s largest pizza chain is looking foeward to open 100 outlets in different parts of the country.It is plaaning to invest around Rs 250 crore. Business Head of JIP Fashion and Restaurant India Pvt Ltd-Suden Singh has taken the franchisee of Papa John’s in India and in the inauguration he said that it is their first outlet in the city while two outlets will be opened in Ahmedabad in next couple of months. They are also planning to open outlets in Surat and Rajkot later
Now the Indian pizza market is of Rs 300 crore but this market is growing rapidly as people’s eating habits ha changed and it is likely to touch Rs 1,000 crore in next four years. As the company is getting a warm welcome, the company has plans to venture out in various states of the country including Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Rajasthan.Including this new outlet, Papa John’s, which came to India in 2006, now has 10 outlets in the country.
