Translate any website to and from Hindi using Google Translate

Google Translate, the most comprehensive online translating software for websites is now available for the National Language of India i.e. Hindi too along with 10 newly added languages and 13 old languages totaling to 23.

Google Translate is a service provided by Google Inc. to translate a section of text, or a web page, into another language, with limits to the number of paragraphs, or range of technical terms, translated. Users can also submit their translations for different terms for future updates.

I myself had been missing our language “HINDI” from the list of available languages in Google Translate. India is the country with second largest population in the world. And not many Indians know languages other than Hindi. So, this is a step that is surely going to open the doors of the WWW for Indians.

Where do I need Google Translate??
I, being a writer often have to refer to sites in other languages. Now, this is not possible for a humble person like me to know a lots of languages. This is where Google Translate comes to my aid. I can read articles in almost all the major languages of the world. Now, Hindi is also into the list also with 9 other newly added languages, which include Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian and Swedish.

Also, you must have noticed some flags on the top of the right sidebar here on CorpoAlert. Those flags let you translate this website to a lot of other languages using Google Translate. With new languages added, this sidebar will have to be modified.

Now, don’t think that you can really read other languages. It isn’t successful to that extent yet. I tried out translating CorpoAlert.com and found a lot of mistakes throughout the website. Some of which were ignorable, while others really very funny. But with time, it can be expected that this service would improve with improvement in technology.

Google these days, seems to be very graceful towards Indians. Just a few days ago, YouTube was launched for India. Prior to which Google Local Search was introduced in India. And just less than a year ago, Google Inc.’s unit “Adsense” had opened a unit in India.

This simply proves that Google has understood the need of technological needs for India and also its potential for future growth in IT sector.
